karen had wanted to set up a mock writers room class while i was still in the fellowship, but the timing didn’t work out with the teacher’s schedule at the time. he’s available now though, and karen was nice enough to invite me back to take the class even though i’m done with the fellowship….
i spent the last week researching community. i watched the entire season over and over, and read 4 of the scripts. i wrote down any ideas i had for possible storylines while i watched the episodes, and i narrowed it down to 3 possible A stories, and 3 B stories. then i spent some time…
i had 3 main goals for 2009: get a job ( i was unemployed). write a script. make a short film. how did i do? i got a job and wrote a script (the office), but i didn’t make a short film like i wanted. i did write another script (how i met your mother)…
the people at the duke city shootout posted all of the films on their site. http://www.dukecityshootout.org/ it’s a little dark so turn up the brightness. i should be getting the raw files soon to make some adjustments. after i make some changes, i’ll be submitting to festivals.
