next time, i want an on set editor. especially when shooting on the hvx200 with the p2 cards, there’s no reason not to have an editor on set. as soon as the p2 card is full, he can download the footage to a laptop and start assembling footage. you can see immediately if there were sound issues, focus issues, performance issues, and you can see if you need more coverage, like a reverse or a close up or cutaway. it would be much better to spend some time reviewing the footage like this on set as opposed to having to schedule pick up shots later in the shoot, or after production wraps.
