preparing the script to direct

i like to make a lot of notes on the script, like actor directions, camera angles, overhead diagrams, etc. on a regular script page, everything can get cluttered pretty quickly. to give me more space, i like to print out the script in landscape mode, not portrait, which gives me half the page for notes.

here are the print settings:

first, file > page setup, set orientation to landscape.

then in the print menu, set page scaling to: multiple pages per sheet.

below that, for pages per sheet, set to 2 by 1.

then you have to type in each individual page and hit print, otherwise it’ll print out as 2 per page.
